Coffee & Conversation does not replace your use of outplacement firms. We are a supplement to outplacement.
Coffee & Conversation provides facilitated peer-to-peer small group networking.
- Peer-to-peer requires that the participating executives are all at the same level.
All held a leadership role in their organization, are at a comparable compensation range, and have approximately the same number of years of experience
in their work history.
- Small group networking is limited to 6 participants. The size of group maximizes interaction which fosters the development of
trusted relationships and the formation of a “Board of Advisors”.
- Structured networking uses a facilitator, to guide the discussion in order to help the participants go behind the resume and get
to know one another on a personal level.
The outcomes of the Coffee & Conversation small group networking are:
- Friendships are forged: These relationships are very helpful for someone in a job search because people will help people they know and like.
- Career goals become clear: Through the discussions of personal values, principles, motivations, interests, success stories and corporate cultures, the participants stop looking for a “job” and start managing their career.
